Looking Back
FIRST CONFERENCE
During our first year we were able to do a multitude of different things.
Here are some interesting facts about the previous ASCENT event! During this conference, we partnered with many schools across Ottawa in order to get encourage students to come to ASCENT!
QUICK FACTS
The topic of our last conference was a "Mission To Mars". Over 70 kids from around Ottawa participated, in this 1-day long event. They even got to meet Odette Laneuville; who has worked with NASA!
FIERCE COMPETITION
We held a short competition during the day, to get the kids involved and helping them get creative. It was very competitive and the winning team only won by a small margin. We hope to host something similar this year!
